HS Social Studies

US History:

The Creative Arts US History course provides students with a comprehensive, intensive study of major events, people, and themes in United States history. The course will focus on several major themes and events including European colonization, the Revolution, Civil War, the West, World War I & II, the 60’s and much more.
 

AP US History:

There is also an AP US History course which is intended to provide the equivalent level of content and instruction that a college-level freshman would encounter in state colleges and Universities. The AP US History Exam is given in the spring and consists of several parts including essay, document based questions, and multiple choice. The class textbook is The American Pageant (Bailey et al.)
