in biology, astronomy, and environmental science. My background includes B.S.
degrees in Soil Science and Life Science Instruction. I also possess a
M.S. degree in Soil Science specializing in soil physics. I enjoyed
working as a professional scientist in hydrologic studies for 15 years
before entering the education profession. My interests include
conservation and environmental issues, anything related to outdoor
